For over a decade, Winyah Dental Group has provided personalized, compassionate dental care to the families of Georgetown County from two convenient locations.
Dr. Rinehart grew up in Murrells Inlet South Carolina. After graduating at Myrtle Beach High, he became a graduate of the University of South Carolina in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Immediately following college graduation, Dr. Rinehart went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina; graduating in 2010.
After completing his doctorate in dental medicine, Dr. Rinehart worked for his father Dr. William Rinehart, participating in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship for the following 18 months. Shortly after, Dr. Rinehart relocated his dental practice to Rinehart Dentistry in November of 2011.
Dr. Burnett is a native of Pawleys Island, South Carolina. he graduated from Waccamaw High School, College of Charleston, and then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014.
Following graduation, Dr. Burnett traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he received extensive training in root canals, implants, sedation, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), and full mouth rehabilitation. This has allowed him to attain his Fellowship in Implantology with the International Congress of Oral Implantologist.
Dr. Hunter Freitas, of Dillon, SC, has joined our team as our newest associate dentist. Dr. Freitas graduated from The Citadel in 2015 and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in the Spring of 2020. He had hoped to find a practice to join in Georgetown, SC, because it’s “one of the last genuine small, coastal towns”, and we couldn’t be happier to have him.
Dr. Morris is a native of Andrews, South Carolina. He graduated from Andrews High School and Clemson University with a Bachelor of Biological Sciences in 2018. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia in 2023 and is currently completing a General Practice Residency at DCG.
Dr. Morris is known for building personal rapport with his patients, treating each one as he would a family member. He enjoys playing golf, fishing, hunting, and boating, and is excited to return to South Carolina to join Winyah Dental Group, drawn by its energetic and positive atmosphere. This move is a special homecoming for Dr. Morris, with deep family roots in the area.
